Yakima County Sheriff Brian Winter will serve as the parade&#8217;s Grand Marshal. &#8220;We&#8217;ll accept up to 125 applications,&#8221; Campfield said. &#8220;The deadline for entry applications is September 10<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup>.&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Sunfair Parade route is unchanged from previous years, he said. The two-mile stretch will run east on Yakima Avenue from 16<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> Avenue to Naches Avenue. The staging area will be on 16<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> Avenue from Summitview Avenue to Nob Hill Boulevard. Participants are asked to arrive at the staging area by 8:00 am on Saturday, September 22<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">nd<\/span><\/sup>. The parade will begin at 10:00 am.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Yakima Sunfair Festival Association also welcomes helpers to assist with staging this year&#8217;s parade. &#8220;We need volunteers,&#8221; Campfield said. &#8220;It takes people to put on a parade.&#8221;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Campfield said having enough volunteers turn out to help is the key to the Sunfair Parade&#8217;s longevity. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;color: windowtext;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">He also praised the community&#8217;s support for the Sunfair Parade, noting thousands line the route each year to see the entries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Sunfair Parade entry applications are available online at <\/span><\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yakimasunfairparade.com\/\">www.yakimasunfairparade.com<\/a><\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">.
