Front Street.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The Yakima Fire Department Spaghetti Feed will get underway at 4:00 pm and will run until about 7:30 pm.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 8pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">Proceeds from this year&#8217;s spaghetti feed will again benefit the Washington State Council of Firefighters Burn Foundation.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">The foundation was founded in 1987 as a 501c3 charity to provide funding for burn research, prevention, and education; as well as care and counseling for burn victims and their families.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">It is operated solely by firefighters who volunteer their time.\u00a0 Events organized by firefighters, such as fun runs, golf tournaments, spaghetti feeds, etc., provide the primary funding for the foundation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Next Wednesday&#8217;s spaghetti feed is jointly organized by the Yakima Fire Department and the Yakima Firefighters Association &#8211; IAFF Local 469.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/6\/Yakima-Fire-Department-Spaghetti-Feed-News-Release-1.pdf\">Yakima Fire Department Spaghetti Feed &#8211; News Release<\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Next Wednesday, October 10th, the Yakima Fire Department will hold its 24th annual spaghetti feed at the department\u2019s headquarters, Fire Station 91, located at 401 N.
