from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 11<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> at Starbucks, 5906 Summitview Avenue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">&#8220;Similar to Coffee with a Cop, this is an opportunity for the community to visit with City of Yakima firefighters and learn more about the department,&#8221; <\/span><\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;color: windowtext;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">said Captain Jeff Pfaff, Public Information and Fire Prevention Officer for the Yakima Fire Department. &#8220;This is a first for us, and if it&#8217;s successful we hope to do this quarterly.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;color: windowtext;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">Two days later, Yakima Fire Department officials will return to the Starbucks at 5906 Summitview Avenue to hold a free <\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Fall Fire Safety Prevention class from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm on Saturday, October 13<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;color: windowtext;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">Pfaff will teach the October 13<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> class, with topics that include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00b7<span style=\"font: 7pt 'Times New Roman';margin: 0px\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">Heater systems and maintenance.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00b7<span style=\"font: 7pt 'Times New Roman';margin: 0px\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">Winterization.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00b7<span style=\"font: 7pt 'Times New Roman';margin: 0px\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">Cooking fires and the upcoming holidays.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00b7<span style=\"font: 7pt 'Times New Roman';margin: 0px\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">Smoke alarm maintenance and testing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00b7<span style=\"font: 7pt 'Times New Roman';margin: 0px\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"margin: 0px;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">Carbon Monoxide alarms and testing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"margin: 0px;color: windowtext;font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 11pt;font-weight: normal\">&#8220;Our goal with the class is to educate people about being aware of fire dangers as we head into cooler weather,&#8221;
