{"id":666,"date":"2013-06-05T16:05:40","date_gmt":"2013-06-05T23:05:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=666"},"modified":"2013-06-05T16:05:40","modified_gmt":"2013-06-05T23:05:40","slug":"hardware-store-burglars-captured-by-yakima-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/hardware-store-burglars-captured-by-yakima-police\/","title":{"rendered":"Hardware Store Burglars Captured by Yakima Police"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Officers from the Yakima Police Department were dispatched to 405 W Yakima Ave, Roy\u2019s ACE Hardware, shortly after midnight on Wednesday, June 5th for a burglary in progress.\u00a0 Witnesses on scene reported hearing a crash, and watched three subjects dressed in black and wearing backpacks, run north from the business.\u00a0 Officers located a large rock used to break out a window<\/p>\n<p>Officer, with the aid of a K9, tracked and located three suspects hiding on top of a car port a short distance away.\u00a0 The suspects were in possession of 44 cans of spray paint and other property taken from the business.\u00a0 Yakima PD Burglary Detectives interviewed the suspects regarding the crime.<\/p>\n<p>All three suspects were booked into the Yakima Juvenile Detention Center for Burglary 2<sup>nd<\/sup> degree.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/6\/Ace-Hardware-Buglary-News-Release.pdf\">Ace Hardware Buglary &#8211; News Release<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>YPD Capt.
