Both eastbound and westbound traffic on a section of\nTerrace Heights Drive will be reduced to one lane tomorrow, Thursday, for a\nCity of Yakima project to repair a concrete barrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traffic restrictions will be in place from 7:00 am to 3:00\npm tomorrow on Terrace Heights Drive from 18th<\/sup> Street to the Yakima\ncity limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Known as a jersey barrier, it is in place to separate a\nwalking path from the roadway. The sidewalk in that area will be closed while\nCity of Yakima crews are making the repairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all\ntraffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely\nto occur.  Drivers should use alternate\nroutes until the project is completed.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be\nmaintained as best as possible.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always, the schedule for this type of a project is\nsubject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and\nemergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
