{"id":6760,"date":"2018-12-27T09:09:55","date_gmt":"2018-12-27T17:09:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=6760"},"modified":"2018-12-27T09:09:56","modified_gmt":"2018-12-27T17:09:56","slug":"refuse-division-seeks-publics-help-during-winter-weather","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/refuse-division-seeks-publics-help-during-winter-weather\/","title":{"rendered":"Refuse Division Seeks Public&#8217;s Help During Winter Weather"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>To provide the best service possible, the City of Yakima&#8217;s Refuse\nDivision is asking customers during winter weather to do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Make sure garbage carts are accessible and clear of all snow and ice at the curbside<\/li><li>Keep a 36-inch-wide path around the carts to enable equipment to safely pick them up<\/li><li>If your cart is not collected on the normal pick-up day, leave it so it can      be collected later<\/li><li>Do not jam garbage into carts<\/li><li>If you live on steep terrain, please bag your garbage during winter weather conditions.\u00a0Operators may need to drive a smaller refuse      vehicle to retrieve your garbage.
