{"id":6872,"date":"2019-01-20T23:20:07","date_gmt":"2019-01-21T07:20:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=6872"},"modified":"2019-01-20T23:20:07","modified_gmt":"2019-01-21T07:20:07","slug":"victim-in-shooting-being-treated-at-harborview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/victim-in-shooting-being-treated-at-harborview\/","title":{"rendered":"Victim in Shooting Being Treated at Harborview"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A man who was shot on Sunday morning\nin the 1800 block of South 12<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue was transported earlier today\nto Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A 43-year-old Yakima resident, whose\nname is being withheld pending notification of his family, reportedly received\na single gunshot to his neck.&nbsp; He was\ntaken by aircraft to Harborview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yakima police responded to a call\nof shots fired in the 1800 block of South 12<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue at about 9:10\nam today (Sunday, January 20<sup>th<\/sup>).&nbsp;\nWhen officers arrived on scene, they found the victim, who had sustained\na gunshot wound to the neck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yakima police continue to\ninvestigate the incident.&nbsp; No arrests\nhave been made at this time.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone\nwith information about this incident is urged to contact the Yakima Police Department\nat (509) 575-6200 or by calling 9-1-1.
