{"id":7150,"date":"2019-03-26T16:31:58","date_gmt":"2019-03-26T23:31:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=7150"},"modified":"2019-03-26T16:31:59","modified_gmt":"2019-03-26T23:31:59","slug":"road-improvement-project-to-impact-traffic-on-lincoln-avenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/road-improvement-project-to-impact-traffic-on-lincoln-avenue\/","title":{"rendered":"Road Improvement Project to Impact Traffic on Lincoln Avenue"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A project to improve the road\nsurface of Lincoln Avenue between 58<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and 60<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue\nwill impact traffic from tomorrow, Wednesday, March 27<sup>th<\/sup> through\nWednesday, April 10<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the project is underway,\nonly local traffic will be allowed on Lincoln between 58<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue\nand 60<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue.&nbsp; Work on the\nproject will take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm until the\nproject is completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The section of Lincoln between 58<sup>th<\/sup>\nAvenue and 60<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue is severely cracked.&nbsp; As part of the project, City crews will\nremove the existing asphalt and road bed, reconstruct the base, and place new\nhot mix asphalt to provide a more durable driving surface. The project also\nincludes laying over 700 linear feet of storm drain pipe and installing several\nmanholes and storm drains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers can expect delays in the\nproject area.
