{"id":7301,"date":"2019-05-03T13:18:43","date_gmt":"2019-05-03T20:18:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=7301"},"modified":"2019-05-03T13:18:44","modified_gmt":"2019-05-03T20:18:44","slug":"yakima-cinco-de-mayo-cultural-festival-begins-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/yakima-cinco-de-mayo-cultural-festival-begins-saturday\/","title":{"rendered":"Yakima Cinco de Mayo Cultural Festival Begins Saturday"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The 18<sup>th<\/sup> annual Cinco de Mayo Cultural Festival will\nbe held this Saturday and Sunday, May 4<sup>th<\/sup> and May 5<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drawing 20,000 or more visitors to Downtown Yakima each\nyear, the Cinco de Mayo Cultural Festival will welcome visitors from 10:00 am to\n9:00 pm on Saturday, May 4<sup>th<\/sup>, and 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Sunday, May\n5<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following street closures will be in effect during the\n2-day festival: Yakima Avenue between 1<sup>st<\/sup> Street and 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\nStreet, the north alley on 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Street to Chestnut Avenue and Chestnut\nAvenue to the north alley on 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Activities\nduring the event include the Ms. Cinco de Mayo Pageant and the Charro Parade,\nas well as local, national, and international entertainment.
