{"id":7442,"date":"2019-06-14T08:37:57","date_gmt":"2019-06-14T15:37:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=7442"},"modified":"2019-06-14T08:37:58","modified_gmt":"2019-06-14T15:37:58","slug":"projects-to-close-section-of-48th-avenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/projects-to-close-section-of-48th-avenue\/","title":{"rendered":"Projects to Close Section of 48th Avenue"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A portion of 48<sup>th<\/sup>\nAvenue will be closed during a road rebuild and paving project, as well as a\nwater main line installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The projects will result in the\nclosure of 48<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue from Nob Hill Boulevard to Tieton Drive from\nMonday, June 17<sup>th<\/sup> through Friday, July 12<sup>th<\/sup>. The closure\nwill be in effect while work is taking place from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday\nthrough Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers can expect delays in the\nproject area. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is\ncompleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the\nspeed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is\n20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to businesses in the\nproject area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will\nbe allowed through the project area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project may\ncause interruptions in scheduled refuse collection.
