{"id":7469,"date":"2019-06-19T16:05:29","date_gmt":"2019-06-19T23:05:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=7469"},"modified":"2019-06-19T16:05:29","modified_gmt":"2019-06-19T23:05:29","slug":"rail-crossing-asphalt-repair-to-impact-traffic-on-mead-avenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/rail-crossing-asphalt-repair-to-impact-traffic-on-mead-avenue\/","title":{"rendered":"Rail Crossing Asphalt Repair to Impact Traffic on Mead Avenue"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Repairs to asphalt paving near a\nrail crossing will result in lane restrictions along a portion of Mead Avenue\nfor most of the morning on Thursday, June 20<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the project is underway, traffic\non Mead Avenue between Maryland Street and Voelker Avenue will be restricted to\none lane in each direction.&nbsp; Work on the\nproject will take place from 7:00 am to 11:00 am on June 20<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers can expect delays in the\nproject area. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is\ncompleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the\nspeed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is\n20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to businesses and homes in\nthe project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles\nwill be allowed through the project area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project may\ncause interruptions in scheduled refuse collection.
