Emergency services will remain\navailable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yakima Transit will not\nprovide bus service Thursday, except for a shuttle to and from 4<sup>th<\/sup>\nof July festivities at State Fair Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be no City of\nYakima garbage pick-up service on Thursday, July 4<sup>th<\/sup>. Garbage\ncollection service schedules by the City&#8217;s Refuse Division on Thursday, and\nFriday this week will be delayed by one day. Those with service scheduled for\nFriday, July 5<sup>th<\/sup> will instead have their garbage picked up on\nSaturday, July 6<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The one-day\ndelay this week also applies to yard waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure\nproper service, residents are asked to have their carts set out by 6:00 am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registrations for City of\nYakima Parks and Recreation programs, as well as picnic shelter reservations,\ncan still be made Wednesday by visiting <a href=\"https:\/\/yakimaparks.com\/\">https:\/\/yakimaparks.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/6\/July-4th-Closures-News-Release-2.pdf\">July-4th-Closures-News-Release-2<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/6\/July-4th-Closures-News-Release-2.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button\" download>Download<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many of the City of Yakima&#8217;s facilities will be closed for Independence Day this Thursday, July 4th.
