{"id":7570,"date":"2019-07-15T10:02:59","date_gmt":"2019-07-15T17:02:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=7570"},"modified":"2019-07-15T10:03:01","modified_gmt":"2019-07-15T17:03:01","slug":"yakima-parks-and-recreation-announces-pool-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/yakima-parks-and-recreation-announces-pool-survey\/","title":{"rendered":"Yakima Parks and Recreation Announces Pool Survey"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yakima Parks and Recreation wants\nto hear from the community in a pool survey recently launched on its website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The\nYakima City Council has asked for the master planning process to begin for the modernization\nand renovation of Franklin Pool and Lions Pool,&#8221; said Parks &amp;\nRecreation Manager Ken Wilkinson. &#8220;As part of the master plan, we are\nconducting a community outreach survey to identify what people want included in\nthe facilities. This will help us create the vision for swimming pools for the\nfuture.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Surveys\nare available in English and Spanish at <a href=\"https:\/\/yakimaparks.com\/2019-pools-survey\/\">https:\/\/yakimaparks.com\/2019-pools-survey\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nsurvey encourages the public to share its feedback on several topics. These\ninclude programs or activities they participate in at the City&#8217;s pools, as well\nas renovations they feel are most needed at Lions Pool and Franklin Pool if\nfunding was found.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also\nasks community members to rate the condition of facilities at Lions Pool and\nFranklin Pool, as well as the programs offered at each pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\npublic can submit surveys on-line.
