Vendors and participants will begin setting up Thursday, August 1st on the fairgrounds and in the Yakima SunDome.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides\nadmiring more than 600 classic automobiles from 1972 and older on the grounds\nof State Fair Park, spectators can enjoy the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> annual SunDome\nShootout custom car show in the air-conditioned SunDome. There will also be\nconcessions on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\ngeneral public can attend the Vintiques Northwest Nationals show from 9:00 am\nto 8:00 pm on Friday, August 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, and 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on\nSaturday. An admission fee will be charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This\nyear&#8217;s event will feature a concert by American Honey, a contemporary and\ntraditional country band, at 7:00 pm on Friday at State Fair Park. The concert\nis included with paid admission to Vintiques Northwest Nationals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lawn\nmower drag races are also planned from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More\nthan 40 prizes will be awarded to entries during this year\u2019s Vintiques Northwest\nNationals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nVintiques Car Club of Yakima organized the first show in 1974. It was held at\nSportsman\u2019s State Park and hosted approximately 20 cars. Every year since then\nthe Vintiques Northwest Nationals have been held at State Fair Park, which was\npreviously known as the Central Washington State Fairgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nnon-profit Vintiques Car Club of Yakima also contributes $10,000 to charities\neach year.
