Work on the project will begin at 7:00 am and\nlast until 3:30 pm each day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traffic will be limited to one\nlane in both directions in the project area. Due to heavy traffic volumes on South 1<sup>st <\/sup>Street,\ndrivers can expect delays. Drivers should use alternate routes if\npossible until the work is completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the speed limit\nthrough all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20\nmiles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to homes and businesses in the\nproject area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will\nbe allowed through the project area if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The repairs may\ncause interruptions in scheduled refuse collection.
