{"id":7782,"date":"2019-09-19T10:05:08","date_gmt":"2019-09-19T17:05:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=7782"},"modified":"2019-09-19T10:05:10","modified_gmt":"2019-09-19T17:05:10","slug":"sunfair-parade-kicks-off-fair-season-in-yakima-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/sunfair-parade-kicks-off-fair-season-in-yakima-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunfair Parade Kicks Off Fair Season in Yakima"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>For the 58<sup>th<\/sup> year in a\nrow, the Yakima Sunfair Parade will follow its familiar route of more than\none-and-a-half miles through Downtown Yakima on Saturday, September 21<sup>st<\/sup>.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The parade is expected to include\nmore than 500 participants and 125 vehicles as it makes its way down Yakima\nAvenue from 18<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue to Naches Avenue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2019 Yakima Sunfair Parade\nwill begin at 10:00 am and is expected to last for about three hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beginning\nat 8:00 am on Saturday, no parking will be allowed on Yakima Avenue between 18<sup>th<\/sup>\nAvenue and Naches Avenue.&nbsp; The parade route will be closed to traffic, and side\nstreets along the parade route will also be closed to through traffic while the\nparade is underway.
