{"id":7823,"date":"2019-10-02T16:14:54","date_gmt":"2019-10-02T23:14:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=7823"},"modified":"2019-10-02T16:14:55","modified_gmt":"2019-10-02T23:14:55","slug":"street-repair-work-to-impact-traffic-on-portion-of-summitview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/street-repair-work-to-impact-traffic-on-portion-of-summitview\/","title":{"rendered":"Street Repair Work to Impact Traffic on Portion of Summitview"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A street repair project will\nresult in lane closures along a section of Summitview Avenue on Thursday,\nOctober 3<sup>rd<\/sup> and Friday, October 4<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; Crews will be grinding out deteriorated\nasphalt and replacing it with new asphalt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the project is underway, the\ninside, eastbound and westbound lanes of Summitview between 40<sup>th<\/sup>\nAvenue and 45<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue will be closed.&nbsp; The outside lanes of that portion of\nSummitview will remain open.&nbsp; Work on the\nproject will take place from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm on October 3<sup>rd<\/sup> and 4<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers can expect delays in the\nproject area. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is\ncompleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the\nspeed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is\n20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to businesses in the\nproject area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will\nbe allowed through the project area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project may\ncause interruptions in scheduled refuse collection.
