{"id":7841,"date":"2019-10-07T16:03:53","date_gmt":"2019-10-07T23:03:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=7841"},"modified":"2019-10-07T16:03:53","modified_gmt":"2019-10-07T23:03:53","slug":"speed-hump-installation-to-impact-traffic-on-portion-of-westbrook","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/speed-hump-installation-to-impact-traffic-on-portion-of-westbrook\/","title":{"rendered":"Speed Hump Installation to Impact Traffic on Portion of Westbrook"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A speed hump installation project\nwill result in the closure of a portion of Westbrook Avenue on Tuesday, October\n8<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the project is underway, the\nsection of Westbrook Avenue between 80<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and 85<sup>th<\/sup>\nAvenue will be closed to traffic.&nbsp; Work\non the project will take place from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm on October 8<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers can expect delays in the\nproject area. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is\ncompleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the\nspeed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is\n20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to businesses in the\nproject area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will\nbe allowed through the project area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project may\ncause interruptions in scheduled refuse collection.
