In recent years, the\nCity of Yakima, the Yakima Police Department, and the Barge-Chestnut\nNeighborhood Association have partnered in an effort to ensure the safety of\nghouls and goblins, princesses and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Various road closures and other traffic restrictions will\nbe in place on Thursday, October 31<sup>st<\/sup> throughout the Barge-Chestnut\nneighborhood from the late afternoon through mid-evening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;  Electronic reader boards will be in place to\nalert drivers that Yakima Avenue from 18<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue to 32<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue\nwill be closed that day from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.&nbsp; The reader boards\nwill also direct Trick-or-Treat drivers to available parking sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;  The westbound lanes of Chestnut Avenue between 18<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and 26<sup>th<\/sup>\nAvenue will be closed\nfrom 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.&nbsp; People who live in the neighborhood can drive\ntheir cars into the area from Tieton Drive using 26<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;  &#8220;No\nParking&#8221; signs will be in place along the south side of Chestnut Avenue between 26<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and 32<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue.&nbsp; One-way, westbound traffic will be allowed\nalong that section of Chestnut and parking will be allowed along the north side\nof that section of Chestnut.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;  &#8220;No\nParking&#8221; signs will be in place along the west side of 32<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue between Chestnut Avenue and Barge Street.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;  &#8220;No\nParking&#8221; signs will be in place along the north side of Barge Street between 26<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and 32<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue.&nbsp; One-way, eastbound traffic will be allowed\nalong that section of Barge and parking will be allowed along the south side of\nthat section of Barge.&nbsp; Barge will also be closed at 26<sup>th<\/sup>\nAvenue and eastbound traffic on Barge will be rerouted north on\n26<sup>th<\/sup> toward Summitview Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;  People living in the area will still be able to\naccess their homes via Tieton Drive and Summitview Avenue using Gilbert Drive,\n22<sup>nd<\/sup> Avenue, 23<sup>rd<\/sup> Avenue, 28<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and 30<sup>th<\/sup>\nAvenue.&nbsp;
