Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard will be closed from North 6<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue to North 8<sup>th<\/sup> Street. In addition, 8<sup>th<\/sup> Street will be closed from Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard to Yakima Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will begin the march\nat Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and 5<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue. From there, they\nwill proceed east on the boulevard to 8<sup>th<\/sup> Street. They will then\nhead south on 8<sup>th<\/sup> Street to the Yakima Convention Center, 10 North 8<sup>th<\/sup>\nStreet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Yakima Police Department will\nescort marchers along the route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yakima Transit will provide two\nbuses for participants with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organizers said the procession in\nhonor of the slain civil rights leader is a peace and unity march that is open\nto the public.
