{"id":8241,"date":"2020-01-27T15:33:08","date_gmt":"2020-01-27T23:33:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=8241"},"modified":"2020-01-27T15:47:34","modified_gmt":"2020-01-27T23:47:34","slug":"stormwater-construction-project-to-impact-traffic-on-powerhouse-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/stormwater-construction-project-to-impact-traffic-on-powerhouse-road\/","title":{"rendered":"Stormwater Construction Project to Impact Traffic on Powerhouse Road"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A stormwater construction project\nwill impact traffic on a section of Powerhouse Road on Tuesday and Wednesday,\nJanuary 28<sup>th<\/sup> and 29<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The section of Powerhouse Road between 24<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue and 28<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue will close from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on January 28th and January 29th to accommodate the project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project involves preliminary camera\nwork by the Michels Corporation to prepare for installation of a new liner in\nthe stormwater pipes next month. The liner will prevent roots from clogging the\npipes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all\ntraffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the project, traffic\ndelays in the area are likely to occur.
