{"id":8330,"date":"2020-02-11T13:42:14","date_gmt":"2020-02-11T21:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=8330"},"modified":"2020-02-11T13:42:15","modified_gmt":"2020-02-11T21:42:15","slug":"stormwater-project-to-affect-traffic-along-portion-of-powerhouse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/stormwater-project-to-affect-traffic-along-portion-of-powerhouse\/","title":{"rendered":"Stormwater Project to Affect Traffic Along Portion of Powerhouse"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A stormwater construction project will impact traffic on a\nsection of Powerhouse Road during weekdays from Wednesday, February 12<sup>th<\/sup>\nto Wednesday, February 19<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The section of Powerhouse between 24<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Avenue\nand 26<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Avenue will be closed on weekdays between February 12<sup>th<\/sup>\nand February 19<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; That\nsection of Powerhouse will be closed from 11:30 am until 5:00 pm on February 12<sup>th<\/sup>\nand from 6:30 am to 5:00pm February 13<sup>th<\/sup> through February 19<sup>th<\/sup>\n(excluding February 15<sup>th<\/sup> and 16<sup>th<\/sup>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project involves installation of a liner in stormwater pipes\nthat will prevent roots from creating blockages.&nbsp; The general contractor for the project is\nMichels Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related\nwork zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to\noccur.
