Pendleton Way to East Martin Luther King\nJr. Boulevard while the project contractor, Total Site Services, makes underground\nwater, sewer and storm drainage modifications to facilitate the north expansion\nof the Convention Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The closure will be in effect 24\nhours a day, 7 days a week beginning February 14<sup>th<\/sup>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The closure should last about a\nmonth, but could be longer depending on the availability of asphalt to finish\nthe roadway after the water, sewer and storm drainage modifications are\ncomplete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to properties within the\nclosure area will be available to local traffic only. Access to homes and\nbusinesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Residents in the impacted area\nhave been notified of the closure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The schedule for this type of\nproject is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and\nemergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the\nspeed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is\n20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the project, traffic\ndelays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes\nuntil project completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project may\ncause interruptions in scheduled refuse collection.
