{"id":8393,"date":"2020-02-21T15:33:26","date_gmt":"2020-02-21T23:33:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=8393"},"modified":"2020-02-21T15:33:27","modified_gmt":"2020-02-21T23:33:27","slug":"wastewater-line-project-to-impact-traffic-on-portion-of-fair-avenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/wastewater-line-project-to-impact-traffic-on-portion-of-fair-avenue\/","title":{"rendered":"Wastewater Line Project to Impact Traffic on Portion of Fair Avenue"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A wastewater line installation project will impact traffic on a\nsection of Fair Avenue from Monday, February 24<sup>th<\/sup> through mid-May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The section of Fair Avenue between Beech Street and Spruce\nStreet will be limited to local access only from February 24<sup>th<\/sup> until\nthe project is completed.&nbsp; Detours will\nbe in place to allow drivers to navigate around the project area and alternate\nbus routes will be in effect until the project is completed.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The general contractor for the project is Hurst Construction,\nLLC, which is based in Wenatchee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related\nwork zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to\noccur.
