{"id":8541,"date":"2020-03-18T14:27:01","date_gmt":"2020-03-18T21:27:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=8541"},"modified":"2020-03-18T14:27:02","modified_gmt":"2020-03-18T21:27:02","slug":"portion-of-hathaway-street-to-close-for-oic-food-bank","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/portion-of-hathaway-street-to-close-for-oic-food-bank\/","title":{"rendered":"Portion of Hathaway Street to Close for OIC Food Bank"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Traffic will be impacted on a section of\nHathaway Street each Tuesday and Thursday, beginning tomorrow, Thursday, March\n19<sup>th<\/sup> for the Opportunities\nIndustrialization Center (OIC) of Washington Food Bank, 1419 Hathaway Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City of Yakima will close the\neastbound lane of Hathaway Street from 16<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue to 15<sup>th<\/sup>\nAvenue from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm Thursday. Crews will have signs in place\nindicating the closure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The food bank will take place from 9 am to\n11:30 am. The lane closure begins 30 minutes beforehand and ends 30 minutes\nafter it concludes to allow time for set-up and removal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The food bank will be held each\nTuesday and Thursday until further notice. As a result, the eastbound closure\non Hathaway will also be in effect from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm each Tuesday and\nThursday until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The closures will be in place as OIC\nanticipates a large turnout for the food bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the food bank hours, traffic delays in the area are\nlikely to occur.
