{"id":8898,"date":"2020-05-29T14:13:07","date_gmt":"2020-05-29T21:13:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=8898"},"modified":"2020-05-29T14:13:09","modified_gmt":"2020-05-29T21:13:09","slug":"yakima-city-council-june-2nd-regular-meeting-preview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/yakima-city-council-june-2nd-regular-meeting-preview\/","title":{"rendered":"Yakima City Council June 2nd Regular Meeting Preview"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Yakima City Council will hold a regular meeting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, June 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agenda items for the June 2<sup>nd<\/sup> regular meeting include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Receiving a COVID-19 update.<\/li><li>Tentative resolution approving extension of Mayoral emergency proclamation, if the Mayor extends the civil emergency proclamation and order due to COVID-19.<\/li><li>Reconvening City of Yakima committees and commissions.<\/li><li>Considering a resolution facilitating the use of public spaces to accommodate restaurants and bars during COVID-19 emergency.<\/li><li>Considering an ordinance repealing City of Yakima Municipal Code Chapter 9.25, Cruising Control.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The following precautions are in place for the June 2<sup>nd<\/sup> meeting due to COVID-19:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The meeting will be conducted by speakerphone.<\/li><li>Since Yakima City Hall is closed to public access, no community members can attend the meeting in person.<\/li><li>There will be no opportunity for public comment during the meeting.<\/li><li>Please e-mail <a href=\"mailto:ccouncil2@yakimawa.gov\">ccouncil2@yakimawa.gov<\/a> if you wish to provide written comment to the City Council.
