{"id":9134,"date":"2020-07-06T07:53:04","date_gmt":"2020-07-06T14:53:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=9134"},"modified":"2020-07-06T08:01:15","modified_gmt":"2020-07-06T15:01:15","slug":"yakima-city-council-july-7th-regular-meeting-preview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/yakima-city-council-july-7th-regular-meeting-preview\/","title":{"rendered":"Yakima City Council July 7th Regular Meeting Preview"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Yakima City Council will hold a regular meeting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, July 7<sup>th<\/sup>, in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agenda items for the July 7<sup>th<\/sup> regular meeting include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Receiving a COVID-19 update<\/li><li>A tentative resolution approving extension of Mayoral Proclamation declaring an emergency order, if the Mayor issues a proclamation extending the civil emergency proclamation and order due to COVID-19.<\/li><li>Authorizing an agreement with Yakima County Development Association for $481,600 of Community Development Block Grant funding for a micro-enterprise grant program to address the consequences of COVID-19.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The following precautions are in place for the July 7<sup>th<\/sup> regular meeting due to COVID-19:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The meeting will be conducted by speakerphone.<\/li><li>Since Yakima City Hall is closed to public access, no community members can attend in person.<em><\/em><\/li><li>There will be no opportunity for verbal communications, with the exception of two public hearings. (See information below).<em><\/em><\/li><li>E-mail <a href=\"mailto:ccouncil2@yakimawa.gov\">ccouncil2@yakimawa.gov<\/a> to provide written comment to the City Council. Written comments received by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, July 7<sup>th<\/sup>, will be provided to the City Council prior to the meeting.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be two public hearings at 6:00 pm Tuesday night.
