{"id":9457,"date":"2020-08-26T11:40:15","date_gmt":"2020-08-26T18:40:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=9457"},"modified":"2020-08-26T11:59:03","modified_gmt":"2020-08-26T18:59:03","slug":"yakima-health-district-news-release-additional-services-approved-for-yakima-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/yakima-health-district-news-release-additional-services-approved-for-yakima-county\/","title":{"rendered":"Yakima Health District News Release: Additional Services Approved for Yakima County"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Yakima Health District received news that the Washington State Department of Health has approved additional services to the county\u2019s modified phase 1 \u201cRoadmap to Recovery\u201d plan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Yakima Health District worked with the Department of Health to develop this \u201cRoadmap to Recovery\u201d for Yakima County as an alternative to the Safe Start Washington Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Yakima County continues to see its metrics move closer to the goal\u2019s set forward for the Safe Start Washington Plan, additional services have been approved. While Governor Inslee put an indefinite hold on movement through the Safe Start Washington Plan, Yakima County has been approved for limited additional services through its \u201cRoadmap to Recovery\u201d.<br>Effective August 27, 2020, the following services will be approved and\/or expanded:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Small outdoor group gatherings of 5 or less people from outside of the household, once per week<br>\u2022 Outdoor fitness classes of 5 or less according to Phase 2 Guidance<br>\u2022 Outdoor Card Rooms, 50 or less according to Phase 2 Guidance<br>\u2022 Gymnastics, according to State Guidance<br>\u2022 Indoor Dining, 25% capacity, according to Phase 2 Guidance<br>\u2022 Indoor Religious Services, 25% capacity, or a maximum of 50 people whichever is less and up to 200 allowed for outdoor services<br>\u2022 Concession stands at drive-in theater with proper masking and distancing<br>\u2022 In-house domestic services, according to Phase 2 Guidance<br>\u2022 Professional services, 25% capacity, up to 30 minutes<br>\u2022 In-store retail, up to 30% capacity<br>\u2022 Photography, according to Phase 2 guidance<br>\u2022 Real estate, 25% of building capacity limited to 30 minutes indoor<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full guidance for each of these activities can be accessed on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimacounty.us\/2429\/Safe-Start-Yakima-County\">Safe Start Yakima website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A reminder that all businesses are required to sign a business pledge stating they will follow all COVID-19 guidance and submit a plan to the Chamber of Commerce prior to opening. Restaurants and churches that previously filled out the pledge must update their plan and pledge in accordance with the new guidance.
