{"id":9812,"date":"2020-10-26T13:29:09","date_gmt":"2020-10-26T20:29:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=9812"},"modified":"2020-10-26T13:29:10","modified_gmt":"2020-10-26T20:29:10","slug":"fisher-park-extends-2020-golf-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/fisher-park-extends-2020-golf-season\/","title":{"rendered":"Fisher Park Extends 2020 Golf Season"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Weather permitting, the 2020 golfing season at the City of Yakima\u2019s Fisher Park Golf Course will be extended two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith our opening delayed due to COVID-19, we are going to try and stay open a little later than we have in the past,\u201d said Recreation Supervisor Tami Andringa. \u201cWe are planning Sunday, November 15<sup>th<\/sup>, as the last day for the golfing season, but that will depend on the weather.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fisher Park Golf Course was scheduled to open March 27<sup>th<\/sup>, but was delayed until May 5<sup>th<\/sup> due to the pandemic. The golf season typically closes at the end of October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course is located at 823 South 40<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue, across from Eisenhower High School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The typical hours of operation are 8:00 am to dusk, with final tee time at 4:15 pm.
