{"id":9961,"date":"2020-11-24T11:11:04","date_gmt":"2020-11-24T19:11:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/?p=9961"},"modified":"2020-11-24T11:11:04","modified_gmt":"2020-11-24T19:11:04","slug":"city-of-yakima-closures-planned-for-thanksgiving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/news\/city-of-yakima-closures-planned-for-thanksgiving\/","title":{"rendered":"City of Yakima Closures Planned for Thanksgiving"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Many of the City of Yakima\u2019s services will be closed this Thursday and Friday, November 26<sup>th<\/sup> and 27<sup>th<\/sup>, for the Thanksgiving holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>City departments such as services located at Yakima City Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emergency services will remain available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lions Pool will be closed Thanksgiving Day and re-open on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yakima Transit will not provide bus service on Thanksgiving Day, November 26<sup>th<\/sup>, but will operate its normal Friday schedule on November 27<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be no City of Yakima garbage pick-up service on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Garbage scheduled for pick-up Thursday by the City&#8217;s Refuse Division will be collected Friday.
