Yakima City Councilmembers Matt Brown (District 6) and Reedy Berg (District 7) will host a community forum on Friday, Sept. 6th, at the Harman Center, 101 N. 65th Avenue. The forum will begin at 6:00 pm.
“The forum will provide an opportunity for community members to ask questions and provide feedback,” said Brown, who serves as Assistant Mayor.
Light refreshments will be served during the forum.
Councilmembers Brown and Berg expect public safety, traffic, road construction, economic development and other issues to be raised during the forum. In addition to the two council members, City staff members will be at the forum to address questions that might come up and to provide information on specific City projects and policies.
“This will give people a chance to bring up issues and learn more about what the Council and City are working on now and what kinds of things should be focused on moving forward,” said Berg.
