{"id":4997,"date":"2023-04-25T09:22:01","date_gmt":"2023-04-25T16:22:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/points-of-interest\/?p=4997"},"modified":"2023-05-09T07:36:00","modified_gmt":"2023-05-09T14:36:00","slug":"airline-destination-poll","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/media\/points-of-interest\/airline-destination-poll\/","title":{"rendered":"Airline Destination Poll"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field (YKM) wants to hear from the public about preferred airline destinations through a new poll at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/surveys.zencity.io\/yakima\/wQnaRL\/?s=sd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Yakima Airport Destinations Survey (zencity.io)<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It asks the public to select which of the following destinations from YKM would be their top priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Seattle (SEA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Las Vegas (LAS)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Phoenix (PHX)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt Lake City (SLT)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Los Angeles (LAX)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The poll also offers an option for respondents to write in other destinations not listed above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe appreciate the community\u2019s support for YKM and look forward to continued feedback through this poll to help prioritize which airline destinations to pursue,\u201d said Yakima Airport Director Rob Hodgman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the second poll the City of Yakima has published this year about YKM. A poll in January received 1,404 responses, with 83 percent strongly supporting expansion of YKM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As with the new airline destination poll, the previous poll allowed respondents to reply anonymously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Washington state plans to build a new regional airport in the next decade.
