Yakima has finite land available within city boundaries. By identifying and readying sites for business development, we will preserve land for economic opportunities, increase the tax base and improve our image as a vibrant place for business with desirable curb appeal.<\/p>\n<h2>Tactics &#8211; Sites for Business<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Inventory and prioritize potential sites\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate urban growth area for future sites (i.e. Tier II)<\/li>\n<li>Prioritize redevelopment sites\/corridors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Engage landowners and understand willingness to partner<\/li>\n<li>For each site, beginning with airport sites owned by the City\n<ul>\n<li>Determine gaps for each site\u2019s competitive readiness<\/li>\n<li>Develop site\u2010specific plans to upgrade conditions.
