In the City\u2019s 2025 Annual Action Plan for the use of these funds, $150,000 has been set aside for Public Services. The City plans to use the $150,000 allocation to fund Public Service programs in the City that target four specific groups\u2014seniors, children\/youth, the unhoused, and victims of domestic violence. Organizations either currently delivering these services or planning to create such services are encouraged to respond to this Notice by applying for CDBG funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications can be downloaded from the Neighborhood Development Services page of the City\u2019s website at (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/services\/neighborhood-development-services\">www.yakimawa.gov\/services\/neighborhood-development-services<\/a>). The application will be found in the \u201cFunding Opportunities\u201d section. Applications are also available in person at ONDS. Completed applications are due by <strong>Thursday, April 30, 2026<\/strong>, and can be sent via mail, email or delivered in person at ONDS. If filled out by hand, please ensure legibility. Detailed Instructions for the application are provided in the application packet. All on-time applicants will be evaluated impartially, and selected applicants will be awarded from $25,000-$75,000 of federal funds for eligible uses as allowed by HUD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please contact the City\u2019s Office of Neighborhood Development Services (ONDS) with any inquiries regarding this Notice or the Public Services application. The City reserves the right to amend the terms of this funding notice, and to circulate applicable addenda if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City of Yakima, in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), commits to nondiscrimination on the basis of disability, in all of its programs and activities.
