For example, since Memorial Day falls on a Monday every year, residents scheduled for refuse on Mondays will have their carts collected on Tuesday, Tuesday-scheduled carts will be collected on Wednesday, and so on through the week. Starting the following Monday, service resumes on the normal schedule.&nbsp;Also, please visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yakimawa.gov\/services\/refuse\/observed-holidays\/\">observed holidays list<\/a> to see all of the days when service may be postponed.
