114 N 22ND AVE, YAKIMA, 98902
Could you please plow No. 22nd Ave. between Summitview and Yakima Avenues? The very deep snow/slush make it difficult to get up the hill and nearly impossible if someone has to stop for an oncoming car while heading up the hill from Summitview (there are often cars parked on both sides of the street, making single lane travel the only option). Thank you!

Could someone please do something about cars parked in the alley between Swan Ave. and Willow (between campbell ln. and 14th.). These cars are parked under posted "no parking signs". I could not park in my garage due to cars getting stuck because these cars are blocking over half the alley. Thank you.

714 N 56TH AVE
Snow removal on the 700 block of North 56th Avenue: I have been more than patient. I see that North Scenic has been plowed several times and it has been in the city only the last several years. Our street has been in the city since 1971 and six families use this road. Why does North Scenic have a higher priority than our road? I know this snow is epic. What happens if I have a heart attack shoveling and pushing snow (I will 78 on Monday)? What happens if my home burns? Why don't you hire more contactors to plow roads. I think it is time for our street to have the snow plowed. When will this happen?

Please, please PLEASE have someone go out and plow the street. There is an elderly disable couple who is having a hard time because of the snow. One of them is in a wheelchair and needs to go to her appointments 3 times a week. it would make a difference and so much easier for them to get to where they need to go when dial-a-ride makes it to their home without a problem. thank you in advance.

Snow plowing - W Lincoln Ave. - In previous years, the hill on W Lincoln Ave was usually plowed. This year they are plowing Poplar View Way and avoiding Lincoln. Poplar is flat and has much less traffic than the hill on Lincoln. Change in priority? Some of the Escalades have been having problems. I am ok in my Subaru! Jim Boyd

I am completely livid with the street grader that came flying down 36th Avenue at about 35 miles an hour this evening!! 1st of all, there are several small children that live across the street from me,!who often play outside in the snow and if one of them would have ran out into the street - The grader would not of been able to stop in time going that speed! Today, I spent many hours painstakingly shoveling snow from my sidewalk, driveway and the road directly in front of my house and the elderly couples house next door, only to have this street grader fly by and completely cover our sidewalks and driveways with a ton of compact heavy snow!!! Then a front end loader came by and dumped a full load (several feet deep) of snow directly on the sidewalk in front of my house, which is completely blocking the sidewalk. I stopped the guy driving the Cat, who dumped the full load of snow on the side walk and let him know how upset I was! He said he’d talk to the street grader about it and then drove off. I understand and appreciate the cities efforts to clear the streets of excess snow but PLEASE don’t deposit the snow back onto the citizens side walks - especially those of us who have already spent hours clearing all the snow in front of our properties. If the snow pile in front of my house freezes before I can get back out there tomorrow night and spend more painstaking hours of time and energy to clear it, I will be in contact with the city so they can get someone to come back and remove it with a front end loader or shovels! Sincerely, Upset Citizen

3505 POWERHOUSE RD
A big THANK YOU to the Crews operating the snow plows down Powerhouse Road!! These are unsung heros and often receive negative feedback. We must ALL exercise patience. They are doing the best they can, with no breaks/lunch. They also can't be everywhere at once. A pleasant wave and smile when you do see them would probably go a long way!

5401 GLACIER WY, YAKIMA, 98908
Hello! Today, I called the street department to compliment the plow operations on Glacier Way yesterday (2-6-19), and to find out if the pile in front of my house (5401) was going to be moved, or if I should move it. Today, a city employee with a snowplow came by and moved it. I spoke with the gentleman and explained my reasoning, and thanked him for his prompt response. In summary, I wanted to thank you for such a quick response to my phone message this morning. Wow! Thank you very much! Dave and Kathy Holmes 966-0436

No one has plowed our roads! We live on Poplarview way in West Valley. Which, is on top of hills. Neither, 80th or Lincoln have been plowed at all. Very disappointed, would be a understatement!!’ This use to be done before we would even wake up in the morning. Why on earth would that not be done? 12 inches of snow on the ground here..

Multiple junk vehicle parked in front yard. This is a chronic and ongoing issue. This is a nice neighborhood and the value is decreased by this ongoing violation. When are you going to do something about it and serve your duty to us taxpayers who want to keep our neighborhood nice? Why is this allowed to continue for months on end? Does someone have to be hurt by this visibility and safety hazard before you’ll make this stop?

102 E YAKIMA AVE
the night club, Casa Vittore: 212 E Yakima Ave, Yakima, WA 98901, has a occupancy issue that is concerning. Every weekend, Friday and Saturday night the owner and management do not comply with occupancy codes. They continue to allow people in the club all night long. You cant not physically take 5 steps without bumping into people. I have worked there for a few months now and i have talked to the owner but he does not care and says to deal with it because he is making money. the waiters can not take drinks out to people and spill drink everywhere because its so packed causing people to slip and fall all over the place. the bathroom lines are so over packed there can be 20-30 people waiting at a time, and there is only one stall per sex. there is over 100-200 people after 11PM-1AM. this needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

218 S 65TH AVE
I live on south 65th ave between Tieton drive and Chestnut ave. There are a number of vehicles parked on the street that never move. One truck is covered in a tarp. A red pick-up with "redneck" sticker never moves and the car parked behind it has flat tires and never moves either. Across the street there is a house on the corner of 65th and Walnut that has two vehicles parked at the corner that never move and they have broken down cars with tarps covering the window parked on their side yard. The address of the main offenders are: 219 S. 65th ave, 223 S 65th Ave and 224 S. 65th ave. Also, 202 S 65th Ave they always park their truck right at the intersection with Chestnut. It makes it very difficult and dangerous to make a right turn onto 65th from Chestnut. I've seen a number of accidents barely avoided because of this. I hate to complain but our street is beginning to look like a junk yard. And the house on the corner of 65th and chestnut is just making things dangerous. Thank you.

Landlord Ed Trammell, refuses to remove or lock double door refrigerator that has been tossed outside along with several washers and dryers and microwaves. I have chased off young children almost on a daily basis that live next to this trash pile from playing with all that stuff and he refuses to do anything about it. With the recent deaths of three children in a chest freezer lets help save these kids from an untimely death.

This motorhome and car has been parked in front of the Tieton Cider Works and Diesel Tech Machining for several weeks. We do not want them parked there. Both of our business's need the street to be clear for freight truck deliveries and pick-ups. The motorhome has been leaking what appears to be sewage on the street. It does no look good to our customers for both the Tieton Cider Bar and Diesel Tech Machining. It also creates a possible security risk for both business's. Please help to have them moved to another location.
