Danny Herrera

Danny Herrera is a lifelong resident of District 2. Growing up he attended Adams Elementary School, Washington Middle School and A.C. Davis High School. He enrolled at the University of Washington where he earned his Bachelors of Arts in 2013 and his Masters in Teaching in Elementary Education K-8 in 2014. He taught 3rd grade at McKinley Elementary for four years.

He spends his time volunteering with several organizations including La Casa Hogar, Henry Beauchamp Community Center, and the YMCA.

In addition to Council Business Meetings, the Council conducts Study Sessions, Special Meetings, Retreats, and other meetings. While Council Business Meetings generally take place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month beginning at 5:30 p.m., meetings are occasionally scheduled at other times and locations.

Council Sessions are televised on Y-PAC (Cable channel 194) and replayed during the following two weeks. Other special sessions held will be available on the Council Calendar.

The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space or language interpreters, for City meetings. Anyone needing special assistance please contact the City Clerk's office at (509) 575-6037 at least two business days prior to the meeting.
