One of the functions of the Traffic Engineering Division is to collect and maintain Average Daily Traffic (ADT) volume counts for the arterial streets within the City of Yakima, Washington. In recent years the effort has been curtailed due to a staffing shortage. Historical data indicates that traffic has grown at approximately 2.5% annually, although growth rates vary by different streets. You may view the most recent traffic counts from the following table, by street name. These are 24-hour counts (both directions) taken on a weekday during normal conditions.
