Building Permit Applications

Below is our basic building permit application form, along with information on requirements for new construction and remodels.

Submit a building permit application, plumbing and mechanical permit applications (if applicable), two sets of construction plans (you will receive one stamped, approved set back) to include:

  • Site plan
  • Floor plan
  • Elevations
  • Wall details
  • Truss engineering
  • Floor engineering
  • WA State Energy Code worksheets
  • Gas piping schematic (if applicable)

NOTE:

  • Wall details
  • The following, if applicable:
    • Truss engineering
    • Floor engineering
    • WA State Energy Code worksheets
    • Gas piping schematic

NOTE:

  • Compliance with land use development standards may also be required. Visit the Planning Division webpage for more information.
  • Work in the right of way will require a separate permit. Visit the Engineering Division webpage for more information.
  • For commercial buildings, if you plan to modify the plumbing, please submit an existing and proposed fixture count, and please indicate if the toilets are tank type, or flush valve type.
