The Yakima City Council will have three public hearings for the preliminary 2025-26 biennial budget:
- Monday, Nov. 4: Ad Valorem Tax (property tax) collection in 2025
- Monday, Nov. 4: 2025-26 biennial budget
- Tuesday, Nov. 19: 2025-26 biennial budget
Hearings begin at 6 pm and will be held at City Hall.
The purpose of the public hearings is to accept input, comments, and/or questions from community members and other affected parties regarding the preliminary budget.

The public hearings air live on Y-PAC, Charter Spectrum Channel 194, and on the City of Yakima website at Live Stream | City Council (yakimawa.gov)

The hearings follow four study sessions Council held in October for the 2025-26 preliminary budget.
