City of Yakima Utility Services’ transition to Paymentus for online payments is tentatively scheduled to begin in mid-March.
The City originally planned to transition from its current online payment provider, Invoice Cloud, to Paymentus this month, but that process is now extended into March.
“Customers can continue to log in to Invoice Cloud and pay online as they have been,” said Utility Services Manager Anabel Chavez. “They will receive paper statements until they can register with Paymentus and again set up for EBILL.”
In addition, the bill payment kiosk outside Yakima City Hall remains available.
The transition for online payments applies to City of Yakima utility and miscellaneous accounts receivables. Examples of miscellaneous accounts receivables include airport, cemetery, Downtown Yakima Business Improvement District (DYBID), transit vouchers and fire inspections.
