Court Records Request
Due to a statewide outage, Yakima Municipal Court is UNABLE to process records requests online or at our window at this time.
For all court record requests, we will need a case number, or defendant’s full name and date of birth.
**WE ARE UNABLE TO PROCESS EXPEDITATED RECORDS REQUEST AT THIS TIME**
You may obtain Yakima Municipal Court case record information, or an audio copy of a court hearing at our windows at the Yakima location. You may also obtain these records via mail, fax or e-mail. Please note that records requests are processed in the order which they are received.
Yakima Municipal Court Rule YMLAR 9(g)(4)(a) preparing a certified copy of an instrument on file for a record in the Clerk’s office is $6.00 per document and $5.00 per CD for FTR Audio recording.
If there is a fee associated with your request, you must submit payment within 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) of being notified that your records are ready. An invoice will be sent to the email address that is provided on the records request. If payment is not received within the 4 business days, a new records request will need to be submitted, and payment will need to be received prior to the processing of certified records.
We only accept cash, money order, business check, or cashier’s check for records requests.
Please do not submit more than one request, this causes additional delays for processing.
Whether you are requesting information on yourself or a third party, please be prepared to show your ID.
