City of Yakima garbage collection will not be delayed. Garbage will be collected on schedule.

Garbage collection in the City of Yakima will be delayed for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day since both holidays fall on a Wednesday this year.  For example; if your regular pick-up day is Wednesday, it will be picked up on Thursday.  If Friday is your regular day, it will be picked up on Saturday.

City Garbage and Yard Waste collection will be delayed one day for Thanksgiving on November 22nd, 2018.
