2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and 2025 Annual Action Plan
The City of Yakima, Office of Neighborhood Development Services (ONDS) will hold the second public hearing to provide opportunity for public input in order to develop the 2025 Annual Action Plan and the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan for the HUD-funded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Programs. Input is requested from city residents regarding affordable housing, community development, and other current or proposed activities. The first public hearing was held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the Yakima City Hall Council Chambers at 129 N. 2nd St, Yakima, WA 98901.
- 2025 entitlement funds for CDBG are estimated at $1,050,000.
- 2025 entitlement funds for HOME are estimated at $450,000.
The second and final public hearing will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers (129 N 2nd St, Yakima, WA 98901). Click here to view the draft 2025 Annual Action Plan and draft 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan.
The written comment period is open from July 3, 2025, through August 4, 2025. Any and all written comment to be considered as public input must be mailed or hand-delivered to the Office of Neighborhood Development Services, 112 S 8th Street, Yakima, WA 98901, or emailed to ask.planning@yakimawa.gov.
