The 2019 Memorial Day Parade in Downtown Yakima will take place from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm this Saturday, May 25th.
Drivers are advised that Yakima Avenue will be closed to traffic from 7th Avenue to Naches Avenue during the parade. In addition, 6th Avenue will be closed from Yakima Avenue to Walnut Street for parade staging, which begins at 8:00 am.
Marine Corps League Detachment 1055 is organizing the parade. It anticipates 200 to 400 participants and more than 2,000 spectators.
