Signal Work Planned for Intersection of 32nd Avenue and Tieton Drive

Crews from the City of Yakima’s signal division will be making repairs to a damaged traffic control box on Sunday, November 9th at the intersection of 32nd Avenue and Tieton Drive. The work will require turning off the traffic signal lights and using stops signs to control traffic at the busy intersection.

Motorists can expect delays and are urged to avoid the intersection if possible. Work will begin around 9:30 am and should be concluded by 2:30 pm.

As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change and is dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
