The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, January 8th.
Action by the Council yesterday included:
- Issuing a Martin Luther King Jr. Day Proclamation.
- Announcing a special meeting from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, Jan. 30th at the Yakima Convention Center regarding a forum on H2A worker housing issues.
- Receiving Council committee reports.
City Council meetings air live on the Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC) Charter Cable Channel 194. The January 8th meeting is being replayed on Channel 194 at 7:00 pm tonight, January 9th and 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 10th. The meeting will also be replayed at 7:00 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights; January 11th, 12th and 13th.
