Washington State Treasurer Mike Pellicciotti (center) visited downtown Yakima last week to see the new Rotary Marketplace and learn how it is benefitting the community. Rotary Marketplace is located at 15 W Yakima Ave and hosts Downtown Yakima Farmers Market (DYFM) each Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm.

Warm temps in early May brought out the spring colors in Yakima, including these awesome blossoms pictured at the Yakima Area Arboretum.

The City of Yakima Refuse Division was one of the featured participants during Dozer Day on Saturday, April 15, at State Fair Park. The annual event is a treat for families and children to see big rigs at work.
