Yakima’s Community Christmas Tree was installed downtown on Nov. 22nd thanks to a team effort by crews from the City of Yakima, Downtown Association of Yakima, Russell Crane and Carrell Crane & Heavy Hauling, Inc. Following the Holiday Lighted Parade on Sunday, Dec. 1st, the tree will be lit during a ceremony at Millennium Plaza.

The Yakima Fire Dept. and local community members worked together to provide Morelia, Mexico – Yakima’s Sister City – with a fire truck. It was presented to a delegation from Morelia on Nov. 20th.
