Sister City Assist

The Yakima Fire Dept. and local community members worked together to provide Morelia, Mexico – Yakima’s Sister City – with a fire truck. It was presented to a delegation from Morelia on Nov. 20th.

Oath of Office

City Clerk Rosalinda Ibarra administers the oath of office for Interim Police Chief Shawn Boyle, who assumed his new duties on July 1st. Boyle was a police captain at the time of his appointment. He has been with YPD since 1996.
